The Beyond the Rock Ministry will visit West Texas Behavioral Health RTC to share a message of hope, empowerment, and transformation with the men and women who are courageously choosing a new path.

This is a meaningful opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus and remind others that their past does not determine their future.

We have a NEW outreach opportunity! Community Connections will serve at the Salvation Army Family Thrift Store, helping organize and sort through donated items so they can be prepared and made available to bless others throughout our community.

Every donated item represents an opportunity to meet a need, and our helping hands can make a difference in getting those items ready for the people who need them.

Here at The Rock, everything we do is guided by the vision God revealed to Pastor Eric on September 27, 2009.

Join us for Vision Sunday as Pastor Eric shares the vision, direction, and what God is doing through The Rock Faith Center.

Vision reminds us that we are not simply attending church—we are part of something God has called us to build together.

Following worship service, you will also have an opportunity to tour The Rock, learn more about our campus, ministries, and facilities, and see more of the vision for what is ahead.

Rock on Every Block continues throughout September! This is a wonderful opportunity to grow in your relationship with God while building meaningful connections with others in a welcoming, home setting. Each group provides biblical discussion, encouragement, prayer, and authentic fellowship as we learn to live out God’s Word together.

Whether you participated in our first semester or are joining for the first time, we would love for you to be part of a group. We believe lives are transformed when we grow together in community.

A new outreach opportunity has been presented to The Rock due to a current need at the Child Crisis Center. Throughout September, Community Connections is collecting canned goods to help stock the Child Crisis Center’s food pantry and support children and families in our community.

As you shop throughout the month, consider picking up a few extra items and bringing them to The Rock. Together, we can help stock their shelves, meet practical needs, and continue being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community!

Suggested items include:

• Canned chicken, tuna, and chili
• Canned ravioli, spaghetti, and other ready-to-eat meals
• Canned soups and stews
• Canned beans
• Canned corn, green beans, peas, carrots, and mixed vegetables
• Canned tomatoes and tomato sauce
• Canned peaches, pears, pineapple, fruit cocktail, and applesauce
• Evaporated milk

Regular-sized cans with pop-top lids are especially helpful, along with low-sodium and low-sugar options when available.

Please make sure all donated items are unopened, not expired, and free from significant damage, rust, or severe dents. No glass containers, please.

Throughout September, we are preparing for our ROCK LOVE BLANKETS OUTREACH, an opportunity to bless individuals battling cancer with PRAYER, LOVE, and ENCOURAGEMENT throughout their treatment journey.

Each $35 sponsorship provides a fleece blanket that will be prayerfully made in ROCKTOBER and given to someone battling cancer. As each blanket is made, our servants continuously pray over it and for the person who will eventually receive it.

These blankets are more than something warm to cover them during treatment—they are a tangible reminder that they are COVERED IN PRAYER and SURROUNDED BY LOVE.

Help us continue sharing ROCK LOVE with those battling cancer by giving toward “Missions” on any of our giving platforms.
